(BALTIMORE – August 1, 2023) – We’ve been following this case for 9 years. Finally, after Attorney Ben Crump got involved 2 years ago, the Lacks Family is finally getting justice against Thermo Fisher Scientific, a biotechnology company based in Massachusetts that exploited Lacks’ HeLa cells for profit.
Don’t even get me started on the people who assisted in this travesty.
This family has undergone all kinds of diabolical evil.
Ron Lacks would not give up tho. With his wife at his side, Ron would one day meet Crump. And the rest is history.
Congrats to the family and Attorney Crump for bringing justice to this family. They more than deserve it.
Medical apartheid is real. Blacks have suffered untold trauma in America. This victory is bigger than Henrietta Lacks. It is also justice for the experimentation that was conducted on countless, untold Black Americans at the hands of an American medical system that can easily be described as criminal.
