Commissioner Hamm’s Grandson is now a Raven!
Malik Hamm makes all of Baltimore proud!

(BALTIMORE – August 31, 2023) – The Baltimore Lightning would like to congratulate BALTIMORE’S OWN MALIK HAMM on making the Baltimore Ravens 53-man roster!

On that note, BMORENews.com would like to congratulate Malik’s family – including his father, Akil, and his grandfather, former BPD Commissioner Leonard Hamm, for this momentous accomplishment. Both men have served this city well and we know that they are so very proud of this crowning moment. Commissioner Hamm said that Malik is an Ivy League graduate who was not drafted. This makes this “win” even greater. CONGRATULATIONS!
