(BALTIMORE – February 11, 2024) – You are invited to join the BMORENews.com Family as BMORENews.com hosts Black Wall Street HOODFELLAS on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 6 to 8 pm at Hoodfellas Bistro, located at 7 N. Calvert Street in the Munsey Building in Downtown Baltimore.

Honorees include entrepreneur and philanthropist Sherree Rogers.

RSVP to https://blackwallstreethoodfellas2024.eventbrite.com.

Who is Sherree?

Sherree Rogers was born and raised in the Park Heights community in Northwest Baltimore. Even though a city girl at heart, she is now in Anne Arundel County. After she graduated from Walbrook Senior High School in the 90s, she took a break from her educational endeavors and pursued more familial goals such as raising her beautiful children. After a couple of years, Sherree enrolled in Baltimore City Community College, where she obtained certificates in nursing, child care, medical assistant, grant writing, financial management, interior design, cognitive behavioral therapy and counseling, medication technician, mental health, and first aid.

Before becoming an entrepreneur, Sherree worked in hospitals and performed private-duty nursing. While employed as a hotel manager, she started a moving and hauling service, a cleaning service, and also a catering business – all the while maintaining a 9 to 5. She owned a small printing company and a new and used furniture store. However, her love for the people led Sherree Rogers to community work. That’s how she became the CEO of her own non-profit organization, Standing Strong Mentoring Program.

Since then, she has been recognized by the City of Baltimore and several other organizations for her outstanding commitment to and support of the community. Sherree has been an asset to her peers and the community. And of course, this is just the beginning of her story and the best is yet to come!
