What:Baltimore’s recognition of Tulsa’s Black Wall StreetWhen:Monday, May 31, 2021 at 5 pm Where:Terra Café Bmore in the Jerk Garden, 101 E. 25th StreetWho:Invited guests include State Senator Cory McCray and State Senator AntonioHayes, former Mayor Sheila Dixon, Tamara Brown, Wayne Frazier (MWMCA), DebraKeller Green (GBBCC), Jerome Stephens & Kenny Brown. Organizedby Doni Glover, this is to call attention to the need to preserve criticalBlack History so that the lessons are not lost. Glover has hosted Joe MannsBlack Wall Street Awards in several US cities since 2011. The awards have beenpresented to more than 1,700 Black entrepreneurs and professionals as well asthe people who support them regardless of race.
