Who is Neya?
Neya Glover is a Maryland native born and raised in Harford County. She has been dedicated to community outreach, mental health, and upliftment for people of color, particularly Black Americans. Graduating early from Havre de Grace High School in 2021, Neya pursued higher education at Morgan State University for a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with an unofficial minor in African Diaspora Studies.
Neya’s experience includes academic leadership and excellence as a student with Honors at Morgan State, creative endeavors that include dance, poetry, and music, community involvement with organizations like Plantation Park Heights, and professional development as an undergraduate student, full-time employee at Baltimore Crisis Response Inc. (988), and intern at Roberta’s House Grief and Mental Health Support Center. She is also certified in Social and Behavioral Research.
Neya mainly uses her writing skills for academic endeavors. She also owns a small business called Glover Grant-Writing and Consultation, which supports small minority businesses with guidance and applications for funding opportunities. She is internationally certified as a grant writer.
She is determined to break generational barriers in wealth, community service, and academic excellence. Neya hopes to pursue her master’s degree in psychology in 2026 and continue to connect with the Baltimore community while focusing on quality mental health care and growth with her current employer.
