New Life Recovery Center to Host Holiday Dinner for Clients and Community
New Life Recovery Center

(BALTIMORE – November 18, 2024) –  New Life Recovery Center, a vital support system for individuals and families affected by substance abuse and addiction, will host its annual Holiday Dinner on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 110 St. Paul Street in Baltimore. This event will bring together clients, staff, community supporters, and local leaders to celebrate the season and recognize the accomplishments of individuals on their journey to recovery.

Substance abuse remains a significant crisis nationwide. More than 20 million Americans struggle with substance use disorders, with over 100,000 lives lost annually due to drug overdoses, primarily due to opioids. Alcohol-related causes claim over 95,000 lives each year, ranking among the leading preventable causes of death. Baltimore has been significantly impacted, accounting for nearly one-third of Maryland’s drug and alcohol overdose fatalities in 2022 alone. New Life Recovery Center is committed to meeting this need by offering critical resources and support.
