Say what you want, but it is a beautiful thing to watch the entire staff at this downtown restaurant love our Mayor.

Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott is intentional about supporting HOODFELLAS, 7 N. Calvert St. Say what you want, but it is a beautiful thing to watch the entire staff at this downtown restaurant love our Mayor. The Mayor was recognized with a Joe Manns Black Wall Street Award for his support of Black business. We celebrate Black entrepreneurs and professionals as well as the people who support them regardless of race. To date, we’ve honored over 2,000 individuals in 9 US cities since 2011. Our goal is to help preserve little known Black Wall Street history nationally and to inspire entrepreneurship beginning in the Black community. We believe that the stronger our businesses are, the better able they are to hire Black people. Hoodfellas, by the way, has 25 employees.
