Maurice is a West Baltimore native who resided in New York City for 19 years before returning home in the summer of 2015. Before becoming a full-time entrepreneur, Maurice spent 29 years as a workforce development professional providing services to some of the most challenging communities in Baltimore and New York.

Since returning, Maurice has created or co-founded three businesses: Center for a Better Tomorrow LLC. which provides staff development training, workforce coaching, and curriculum development; Traci’s Treats Bakery; and Crown 7 LLC, a uniform business.

He is a proud graduate of the City University of New York (CUNY)/City College of New York (CCNY). When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his teenage son and his mom or serving the community which he does at the Ruth M. Kirk Recreation and Learning Center on a frequent basis.

Maurice is proud to stand on the shoulders of great Baltimore entrepreneurs who have come before him like Harlow Fullwood, Osborne Payne, Charles T. Burns, William Adams, and many many more.
