2026 Joe Manns Black Wall Street Award Honoree
(BALTIMORE – August 1, 2026) – Julianna Jones is a dynamic professional whose career brings together insurance, government relations, entrepreneurship and political strategy.
A serial entrepreneur with a talent for building effective operations, Julianna knows how to turn vision into action. She combines strong business instincts with strategic communication skills and a genuine commitment to public service.
Today, Julianna serves as Operations Director for the campaign of Julian Jones, the Democratic nominee for Baltimore County Executive. In this critical leadership role, she has helped shape the campaign’s strategic direction, operational structure and digital media presence.
Political campaigns require more than speeches, signs and social media posts. Behind every successful campaign are professionals who organize people, manage competing priorities, communicate a clear message and keep the entire operation moving forward.
Julianna is one of those professionals.
Her work helps ensure that the campaign effectively reaches and mobilizes voters while communicating a vision for a safer, stronger and more prosperous Baltimore County. As the campaign works to make history, Juliana is helping build the organization required to transform that possibility into reality.
Her impact, however, extends beyond politics.
Drawing upon her experience in insurance, government relations and entrepreneurship, Juliana understands how business, public policy and community engagement intersect. She brings an operational mindset to every assignment—identifying what must be done, organizing the necessary resources and helping people work toward a common objective.
That combination of business acumen and public-service commitment reflects the spirit of the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards.
Black Wall Street is not solely about owning a business. It is also about leadership, institution-building, economic empowerment and using one’s talents to create opportunities for others. It is about recognizing the professionals working behind the scenes whose contributions help move businesses, organizations, campaigns and communities forward.
Julianna Jones represents that kind of leadership.
She is strategic. She is entrepreneurial. She understands communication, organization and the importance of building relationships. Most importantly, she is applying those abilities to work intended to improve the lives of Baltimore County residents.
For her multifaceted professional accomplishments, entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to public service, BMORENews is proud to recognize Juliana Jones as a 2026 Joe Manns Black Wall Street Award honoree.
