Who is Joni?

Joni is a fearless and purpose-driven leader dedicated to serving others and securing the success of underprivileged youth. In 2015, following the Freddie Gray riots, she founded the grassroots nonprofit HeartSmiles. Since its inception, HeartSmiles has become a model for authentic youth engagement, development, and relationship building.
