(BALTIMORE – April 17, 2025) – Don’t miss the next BMORENews business networking event: Black Wall Street TWENTY-FIFTH STREET, happening Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Terra Cafe Bmore (101 E. 25th Street, Baltimore).

Part of the ORIGINAL Black Wall Street SERIES, this gathering features the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards, which honor Black entrepreneurs and professionals—as well as their allies of all backgrounds—who are making a positive impact.

The mission is simple but powerful: to promote and celebrate entrepreneurship, starting with the Black community.

RSVP today and be part of the movement! Go to BlackWallStreetTWENTYFIFTHSTREET.eventbrite.com.

Honorees include Jamarr Wilson.

Who is Jamarr?

Jamarr Wilson, a proud Baltimore native, has devoted his life to promoting mental health awareness and emotional intelligence within his community. Raised in northeast Baltimore and spending formative years in Sandtown-Winchester on the city’s west side, Jamarr witnessed the deep, lasting impact of violence and loss. The repeated tragedies that claimed the lives of friends and family became the catalyst for his unwavering commitment to mental health advocacy.

Jamarr pursued his passion academically at the renowned Morgan State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Global Health, along with a certification in Global Health Psychology. With over eight years of hands-on experience in the mental health field, he holds several professional certifications, including Family Therapy Support and Depression & Anxiety Support. His background includes psychological testing, research, and direct counseling, equipping him with a comprehensive approach to mental wellness.

Currently, Jamarr serves as the Director of Operations at Roberta’s House, Inc., a grief support center where he plays a key role in leading initiatives for men’s healing programs. His leadership and insight continue to shape innovative strategies for grief and mental health support.

Jamarr is also furthering his education at the University of Baltimore, where he is pursuing a master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. As a certified research and global psychologist, he is dedicated to advancing not only his career but also the broader movement for men’s mental health awareness and emotional well-being.
