To date, BMORENews and its partners have recognized over 2,700 honorees in 9 major US cities since 2011. The goals are to help preserve Black Wall Street history nationally and to help inspire entrepreneurship as a viable option, beginning in the Black community. We, as a community, have $1.6 trillion in annual disposable income – equal to the 15th largest economy on earth. Hence, we believe that any Black business person with a viable product or service ought to have no problem not only surviving but thriving as well.
