MEET the Next Generation of Business Leaders!

(BALTIMORE — May 24, 2025) — On Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 10:00 AM, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and community advocates from across the Greater Baltimore Metropolitan Area will convene at the Thurgood Marshall Amenity Center for the Greater Baltimore Black Empowerment Forum — a powerful gathering dedicated to reflection, resilience, and economic empowerment.

This year’s forum holds special significance as it marks the 104th anniversary of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, when Tulsa’s Greenwood District — once known as Black Wall Street — was bombed from the air and burned to the ground, destroying hundreds of Black-owned businesses and homes.

Featured participants include Lenora Davis, Arianna Neal, Michelle Powell, Sheree Daugherty, J.B. Kenney-Ali, Omari Latif, Gerard Hutchinson, Robert Cotton, Lamontre Randall, and a host of other visionary leaders dedicated to uplifting Black communities through entrepreneurship, innovation, and collaboration.

Confirmed elected officials include Delegates Scott Phillips, Malcolm Ruff, and Sean Stinnett.

“This forum is more than a remembrance,” said Doni Glover. “It’s a declaration of progress, unity, and Black excellence — building a future that honors the past and empowers the next generation.”

Attendees can expect dynamic conversations, networking opportunities, and strategies for community-based economic development. The event is open to the public, and all who are committed to Black empowerment and sustainable growth are encouraged to attend.

Special thanks to Dr. Alvin Hathaway.
