In short, we celebrate Black entrepreneurs and professionals as well as the people who support them regardless of race. Since its inception in 2011, we have recognized over 2,500 individuals in 9 US cities. Honorees receive the coveted Joe Manns Black Wall Street Award.
We aim to inspire entrepreneurship beginning in the Black community and help preserve little-known Black Wall Street history from a national perspective. BMORENews publisher Doni Glover wrote about this national and international perspective in the 2021 book “I Am Black Wall Street”. Â
