Who is Ethan?
Ethan Sutherland is an outgoing 10th grader who is developing his knowledge and skills in the fields of engineering and entrepreneurship. He co-founded and manages Vex robotics team Scorpion, hosted by the nonprofit organization, Agility Network. Along with his family, he co-founded a local chess club, the Loch Raven Dragons, and an educational consulting company, The 3RGroup. He co-wrote and produced a historical fiction publication for elementary and middle school students.
Ethan is a competitive speed Rubik’s-cuber, hackathon participant, and volunteer. Since 2021, he has been a pet sitter with Trusted Housesitters and a volunteer at City Horse Ranch. He also has a strong interest in geography and geo-politics.
