Coppin State University Largest Incoming Cohort in 14 Years Finishes the Semester Strong

(BALTIMORE – December 22, 2024) – Coppin State University proudly welcomed its largest incoming class in 14 years this semester. This milestone highlights the university’s growing reputation for academic excellence and community impact. The Class of 2028, known as ‘Eagles Amplified,’ comprises over 2,000 students who represent a dynamic blend of talent, passion, and diversity.

The Eagles Amplified cohort brings fresh ideas and perspectives from various backgrounds, enriching Coppin’s vibrant academic and social fabric.

“Eagles Amplified has truly lived up to its name,” said Dr. Anthony L. Jenkins, President of Coppin State University. “This remarkable group of students has revitalized our campus with their energy and engagement, setting a high benchmark for future classes.”

As the semester draws to a close, this cohort has laid a solid foundation for Coppin State University’s future. Their achievements reflect their potential to excel academically, lead boldly, and shape the university’s ongoing transformative education and service legacy.

Coppin State celebrates the success of Eagles Amplified and eagerly anticipates their continued growth.
