Join us as we discuss how we can address the issue of homeless ness in the Black community with Brittany Phillips author of “Opinions of Young Mature Minds.” Homelessness is a national problem, but disproportionately impacts Black communities more severely. African Americans make up 39% of people experiencing homelessness and more than 50% of homeless families with children, while only making up 13% of the overall US population. Brittany will share how we can be more active in ending homelessness throughout the diaspora.
