(BALTIMORE – September 16, 2024) – Of all the various aspects of our work at BMORENews.com, I’d have to acknowledge that our video content is what I’m most proud of. Since 2002, we have amassed quite possibly the largest Black news YouTube catalogs worldwide.

From New York to New Orleans, we have been fortunate to document the lives and stories of Black people. From East Baltimore to East Africa, this little engine that could have captured on video everyone from Marion Barry to President Barack Obama.

Pete O’Neal, the Black Panther living in exile since the 60’s, interviewed by BMORENews.com in Tanzania in 2006.

Maybe we should do a better job telling this story. Quite honestly, I’d rather get on to the next story. But, in an attempt to better define ourselves as a bona fide news outlet, I wanted to take a moment to highlight our video efforts.

Many thanks to people like Michael Haynie, who have tirelessly supported our efforts at our baby sister outlet, BlackUSA.News. This network was founded in December 2020 and is known as our pandemic pivot. Consequently, on weekdays, we are blessed to broadcast at 9 am some of the best stories ever. For example, Dr. Michael Zollicoffer, M.D. – son of the founder of Garwynn Medical Center – is one of our favorite guests. And then there is Attorney Robert Dashiell and Attorney William “Billy” Murphy. And let me not forget last week’s interview with AI guru Vennard Wright. People like them help gird up this network so that we can deliver content you won’t find anywhere else.

Then, there are the LIVE interviews we do in the streets, like this past weekend when we interviewed Dunbar High School basketball legends Dwayne Wood (aka “Kosher”) and Keith Goodie.

And let me dare not forget the sisters: Judge Leonia Lloyd from Detroit; Attorney Nkechi Taifa; voiceover queen and mentee Princess Williams; Yolanda Rivera-Quintanilla; and Dr. Jasmin “Jazz” Sculark – to name a few.

So, please do me a favor. Do check out the videos on BMORENews.com and BlackUSA.News. You won’t be disappointed.
