Who is Taylor?

Taylor Thomas is a veteran Morning Radio News Anchor. She was brought back to the Washington Metropolitan region after her exemplary impromptu reporting of the 911 attacks on our country just seconds after they began. She worked as the Morning News Anchor for The Russ Parr Morning Show and The Steve Harvey Morning.

Taylor has spent two decades as a public figure in the Washington Metropolitan Area assisting with community outreach programs and reporting on stories that mattered to her listeners. She covered major stories like Hurricane Katrina, the DC Snipers, the election of President Barack Obama, to COVID-19. She has a strong focus on our youth, prompting her to create her non-profit The Better Family, Inc.

This 501 c3 organization aims to connect children to educational, health, and cultural development resources to help them become productive citizens that give back to their communities.

She’s been a spokesperson for a number of organizations and brands from the American Red Cross, Oprah Winfrey’s O, That’s Good brand to XFINITY.

She continues to grow her meeting and conference planning brand, which started 15 years ago. It’s gone through a few name changes but Meetings and More continues to flourish producing trade shows and a number of conferences locally and nationally.  She’s a dedicated mother and active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
