LaQuicha Brown to be Recognized at Black Wall Street MLK, Jan. 12th @Terra
Berries by Quisha

(BALTIMORE – January 7, 2023) – Be sure to reserve your spot for Black Wall Street MLK set for Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 6 to 8 pm at Terra Cafe Bmore located at 101 E. 25th Street in Baltimore.

RSVP to BlackWallStreetMLK.eventbrite.com.

Honorees include LaQuicha Brown, the Creative Director and Owner of Berries By Quicha.

Who is Quicha?

Get ready to be “Berry” impressed. Barack Obama, Beyoncé, Michael Bloomberg, and Sinbad are among the client list, who have enjoyed Berries by Quicha’s gourmet chocolate-covered strawberries.  LaQuicha Brown starts with high-quality sweet strawberries dipped in gourmet chocolate.

From there, her creations get adorned with decorative accents, ranging from a simple band of sprinkles to even your company’s logo or an edible photo design of your choice. Mrs. Brown started making her confections from her home kitchen and then seized an opportunity to open her retail shop near the Baltimore Comedy Factory at the Best Western in Baltimore in 2014. Three years later, she expanded to Federal Hill at 922 Light St, Baltimore, MD 21230. In 2022. that location grew from 1000 sq. ft. to 3000 sq. ft.

“I just love having the free mind to create,” shares Mrs. Brown, who channeled the skills she gained from her Morgan State sociology degree and criminal justice minor (she plays detective to figure out what her clients want) into making a name for herself in the DMV. Berries by Quicha continues to be family-owned and operated. Mrs. Brown is a wife and mom of seven and enjoys “Berry” sweet family time when not working.

May your day be the BERRY sweetest!
