(BALTIMORE – February 10, 2025) – Be sure to save the date: Sat., Feb. 22, 2025. BMORENews.com, in conjunction with the Maryland-Washington Minority Contractors, Bishop Barry Chapman of Bishop Pest Control and Bishop Bail Bonds, and Joseph H. Brown Funeral Home, present the Black Wall Street EXPO 2025 featuring panels, workshops, and the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards (2:30 pm). We’ll also present our second cohort of Black Wall Street YOUTH AWARDS (10:30 am). RSVP to BlackWallStreetEXPO2025.eventbrite.com.

Honorees receiving the Black Wall Street Award YOUTH AWARDS include Anthony Cooley.

Who is Anthony? 

Anthony Cooley, an 11-year-old sixth grader, embodies the spirit of young entrepreneurship and community leadership. As a budding engineer passionate about building and creating, Anthony channels his innovative mindset into academic and philanthropic pursuits. Alongside his mother, he plays an integral role in developing ‘Auntie’s House,’ a foundation focused on youth development, financial literacy, and life skills training.

An avid reader and talented basketball player, Anthony’s kind heart and natural leadership abilities shine through in everything he does. Following his older brother’s footsteps, he aspires to attend Bowie State University. His creative spirit, entrepreneurial drive, and genuine compassion for others make him a remarkable young man who continues to make his family proud.
