Who is Adar?
A. Adar Ayira is the Principal Consultant of Ayira Core Concepts LLC (ACC-LLC), a boutique consulting firm providing Organizational Development services including strategic planning; technical assistance; organizational, board, and program development; and project management for nonprofit organizations and corporations.
As an educator, facilitator, and trainer on ARAO (Anti-Racism/Anti-Oppression)/Inclusion analysis and frameworks, Adar creates and implements customized programs, presentations, facilitations, clinics, and trainings. She provides executive coaching for nonprofit organizations, businesses, foundations, community groups, and individuals in the region.
Her organizational development work focuses on assisting with the embedding of the reenvisioning, development, and implementation of policies, practices, and organizational cultures that enable more inclusive systems and structures. As part of her work, Adar also provides IED (Interim Executive Director) services during times of organizational transitions.
Adar centers on Anti-Racism/Anti-Oppression (ARAO) and Black Liberation analyses as the foundation for her Organizational Development and Management work. A founding member of Baltimore Racial Justice Action (BRJA), Adar continues to be active as a Primary Trainer (including long-term co-trainer of BRJA Trainers) and Advisory Board Member, assisting others in expanding their understanding of individual, cultural, institutional, and structural manifestations of oppression (racism, sexism, disability, religion, etc.), privilege, and power, while simultaneously working to continue expanding her own.
