If you are an entrepreneur, this workshop is guaranteed to teach you something you need to know. It will be facilitated by Carl Brown of the Washington, D.C. Small Business Development Center at Howard University. On any given day, he works with entrepreneurs and small business owners from all walks of life. He has helped many empower themselves and their businesses. Experts featured in this workshop also bring their specialties to the table.

While Ericka Alston-Buck will share tips on her success using traditional and social media, Attorney Robert Dashiell, Esq. will be on hand to share his insight on obtaining government contracts. And then Kenny Brown will also share some of his nuggets when it comes to advertising. After all, he is a legend in his industry.

And we certainly can’t forget Omar Muhammad. He runs the Entrepreneurial Development and Assistance Center at Morgan State University. Like Brown, Muhammad services entrepreneurs and small businesses every single day. And for any would-be authors out there looking to drop their first book in 2025, Dr. Leroy McKenzie will be present. He has helped many new authors cross the finish line. Lastly, there is Jim Peterson of M&T Bank. He has served people in the Mid-Atlantic region for many years and has helped small business owners understand what a bank can and should do for them and how to better position one’s business to grow stronger.

To say the least, this is a powerful workshop that will provide something for business owners, large and small. Remember, it’s never too late!
