(BALTIMORE – December 12, 2024) — Start the new year on a high note with the 2025 Black Wall Street New Year Empowerment Summit, hosted at the Sankofa Children’s Museum of African Cultures (4330 Pimlico Rd., Baltimore, MD 21215) on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This powerful event invites entrepreneurs, community leaders, and supporters of Black economic empowerment to come together for an inspiring day of learning, networking, and action. With themes like “Buy Black ‘Til It Hurts,” “Black Spending Power,” and “The Power of Black Business,” the summit aims to galvanize collective efforts to build stronger, self-sustaining communities.

Key Features of the Event:

  • Keynote Address:
    Chad Williams, Executive Director of the $28 million-funded West North Avenue Development Authority.
  • Panel Discussions:
    Engage with experts and thought leaders in discussions on:

    • The Future of Black Business in the Digital Age
    • Building Wealth in Our Communities
    • Effective Strategies for Community Engagement
  • Interactive Workshops:
    Hands-on sessions will cover topics like business planning, digital marketing strategies, accessing funding, and overcoming challenges in entrepreneurship.
  • Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards Ceremony:
    Celebrate excellence as individuals and organizations making a significant impact in their communities are recognized for their achievements and leadership.
