CARDIN HAILS PASSAGE OF FARM CONSERVATION PROGRAMS TO RESTORE THE HEALTH OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY:
U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) today lauded the 2013 Farm Bill (S. 954) for its benefits to Maryland’s farmers and the continuation of a strong foundation for restoring the health of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. The bill passed with bipartisan support 66-27. - A property owner only has one resolution to address water bill errors and that is to file a complaint and request an investigation. This is a verbal policy of the Department of Public Works. The Department of Public Works is not capable of performing an investigation. An investigation would involve diagnosing the problem from previous months, but DPW can only read the current meter data.

Raynier Harvey and Aaron Barnett showed up, also. They are both running for a seat in 44B. Now that Delegate Emmett Burns is not running, he has reportedly poured his support onto Barnett. Harvey is running on the Nathan-Pulliam ticket.
Stephanie Boston showed up. She is a state Senatorial candidate who is itching to upstage Delores Kelley, the veteran senator representing Liberty Road.
And, Marvin "Doc" Cheatham was present. Cheatham said he is making a run for Delegate in the new 40th.
