We celebrate black entrepreneurs and professionals as well as the people who support them regardless of race. Since 2011, we have recognized more than 1,300 individuals in 5 US cities.
We do this to encourage entrepreneurship in the African American community and beyond. And we aim to pay homage to the 600 or so black-owned businesses bombed and destroyed in Tulsa, OK on May 31-June 1, 1921.
