(BALTIMORE – May 24, 2024) – Yes, I attended tonight’s soft opening of Soul Street. Had I not, I would never have heard the end of it from Ira Chase. That young man is one tenacious entrepreneur. You must love him and his partners – Ben Thompson – and Teaon Everage, the former CEO and Executive Chef at RYMKS Bar & Grille. Hoodfellas and Rymks have joined forces to form a stronger entity. And I love it!
Teamwork makes the dream work. I am so delighted that these Black men and their respective teams have come together to find a solution for a time like this.
The greens were banging, the jerk was apropos, and attendees found the cocktails delightful. The broader public’s opening is Tuesday, but tonight’s VIP sneak peek showcased a beautiful establishment in Little Italy.
Yes, I will be going back and regularly.
