Freddie Gray, 5 Years Later
Five years after the Freddie Gray Uprising, the community will convene on Saturday, March 21, 2020 (3 – 5 pm) at the historic Arch Social Club at Penn-North to hear from 2020 Baltimore Mayoral candidates regarding the plight and the future of Penn-North.
Drugs, addiction, homelessness, and vacants are but a part of the discussion. We also need solutions and, truth be told, we also have some successes to share.
Co-moderators include Cultural Organizer Denise Johnson, WKIM Radio’s Marsha Jews and Attorney Ivan Bates.
This forum is being presented by the United Communities of Historic West Baltimore. Special thanks to the Historic Arch Social Club, representing 108 years of Black History.
