David Rubinstein, the new owner of the Baltimore Orioles as of yesterday.

(BALTIMORE – March 28, 2024) – Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, US Sen. Ben Cardin, and Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott were among the speakers today on the 6th floor at Camden Yards as a presser unfolded just before noon. Former Oriole standouts Cal Ripken and Eddie Murray were among the special guests – along with Orioles General Manager Mike Elias and the new owner, billionaire David Rubinstein. Rubinstein bought the team yesterday for $1.725 billion.

Rubinstein is a graduate of Baltimore City College and bragged about his public school roots during the press conference where the real topic of interest was the rebound from this week’s Key Bridge collapse. SEE PICS

(L to R) – Doni Glover, Mike Cryor, and Craig Thompson, Esq. Thompson was recently added to the Maryland Stadium Authority by Gov. Moore.
