Morehouse: We Expect Nothing Less - The Benjamin E. Mays Story

Witness how Morehouse College students exemplify social grace in their powerful yet peaceful demonstrations in light of the social injustices that permeate society. This short film explores how today’s HBCU youth leaders carry on the tradition of leadership championed by legendary Morehouse president Dr. Benjamin E. May, a mentor to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Samuel DeBois Cook, who advocated fighting for justice and equality while maintaining respect and dignity. The film follows a handful of Morehouse College students who uphold the Morehouse mystique during the college’s 141st commencement.
