As always, the event will feature the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards, where we celebrate Black entrepreneurs and professionals as well as the people who support them regardless of race.
Honorees will include Joseph Woodson.
Who is Joseph?
Joseph Woodson is the BGE Manager for Diverse Business Empowerment with 22 years of gas and electric operations experience working at BGE. Joe specializes in developing and maintaining inclusive, diverse supplier relationships through the Exelon Diverse Business Empowerment program, which is committed to purchasing goods and services from small, local, and diverse businesses. Joe is a powerful force in the workplace and uses his positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage and mentor employees at BGE and serve the community of Baltimore. Joe is a United States Navy veteran, serves on the American Association of Blacks in Energy board, the Zeta Sigma Foundation board, and is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. Joe is inspired daily by his family, friends, and co-workers. In his free time, Joe likes to travel, spend time outdoors, and attend live performances.
