Doni Glover: A Visionary in Media, Entrepreneurship, and Community Advocacy
Doni Glover

Doni Glover is a trailblazing journalist, entrepreneur, author, and community advocate from West Baltimore, Maryland. Over decades of impactful work, Glover has become a prominent voice in media, a champion for Black entrepreneurship, and a driving force for community empowerment.

Journalist and Media Entrepreneur

Glover is the publisher of BMORENews.com, a groundbreaking platform dedicated to amplifying stories of the Black community, particularly in Baltimore. He is also the host of the Emmy-nominated Doni Glover Show, which delves into topics such as advocacy, empowerment, and entrepreneurship.

In addition, he founded DMGlobal Marketing & Public Relations, a firm specializing in online media, digital marketing, and public relations, with a mission to elevate narratives within the Black community.

Author and Advocate for Black Empowerment

As an accomplished author, Glover has penned three impactful works:

  • Unapologetically Black explores his journey as an advocate for justice and progress in the Black community.
  • I Am Black Wall Street chronicles the history and legacy of Black entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.
  • Journapreneur serves as a guide for aspiring journalists seeking to build successful media brands and monetize their work.

Glover also founded the Original Black Wall Street SERIES, a program that has celebrated over 2,500 entrepreneurs across the nation, showcasing their contributions to economic and community development.

Community Engagement

Glover’s commitment to grassroots activism is evident in his work during pivotal moments like the 2015 Freddie Gray Unrest in Baltimore, where he facilitated over 40 community meetings in Historic West Baltimore’s Sandtown-Winchester community.

Education

A strong believer in the transformative power of education, Glover credits his success to his time at Morehouse College and the Community College of Baltimore City, as well as the values instilled by his parents. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in English: Media Arts with a concentration in broadcast production and technology from Coppin State University. In May 2025, he will graduate with a Master’s in Journalism from Morgan State University.

Philosophy and Impact

Glover’s guiding principle, “leaving people better than we found them,” underscores his relentless pursuit of progress. Through his work in media, business, and community advocacy, he continues to inspire and uplift individuals and communities alike, leaving an indelible mark on the world.
