(BALTIMORE – February 19, 2025) – The Baltimore City Democratic State Central Committee (BCDSCC) received resumes to fill the Maryland House of Delegates vacancy in the 41st Legislative District following the appointment of Del. Dalya Attar to the Maryland Senate.

There were (12) twelve qualifying candidates will participate in the interview process, which will be streamed live from our Facebook page on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 6 pm!

After the interviews, the (8) eight voting members of the 41st Legislative District will vote publicly. The individual receiving the most votes will be submitted to the Governor, who will have 15 days to make an official appointment. If appointed, the successful candidate will serve the remainder of the term, which concludes in November 2026.
