Esteemed Attorney Billy Murphy to be Honored at BMORENews’ 20th Anniversary Event
William H. Murphy Jr. is an attorney and former judge in Baltimore, Maryland, now working as managing partner of Murphy, Falcon, Murphy law firm. An African-American, Murphy has been particularly associated with advocacy for civil rights; he has also been prominent in local politics over several decades.

(BALTIMORE – November 23, 2022) – BMORENews.com has continued the esteemed legacy and mission of the Black press and news media for the past 20 years. We’ve reported the truth, even when it was unpopular. And with your support, we’ll do it for another 20 years!

Black Press Matters, a BMORENews.com 20th anniversary event, will feature, of course, the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards. Honorees include some of the best and brightest in the MD-DC region, including esteemed Attorney Billy Murphy, Jr., managing partner of Murphy, Falcon, Murphy. 

In addition, the backdrop is the super-phenomenal“Dear Black Girl” exhibit by Baltimore’s own artist extraordinaire Tamara Payne.
