BEYA Founder Dr. Tyrone Taborn Hosts Spectacular Fundraiser for Wes Moore
Wes Moore Fundraiser at the Taborn's home brought out an all-star audience.

(BALTIMORE – August 31, 2022) – Kudos to Tyrone “Doc T” Taborn, his queen of a wife (Jean), and their team for pulling together the most powerfully and beautifully diverse cross-section of Black Excellence – most of whom are based in the Maryland/DC corridor.

God has blessed us to see some marvelous things, but this ensemble on Sunday in support of Wes Moore was nutritious to the soul.

So often, the Black community is painted as everything except a child of God. Or, we have to be featured catching a ball, telling a joke, or dropping some lyrics – just to get some air time. This event counters every stereotype portrayed about us. This event dismissed the low vibrations society tries to throw at us with a light that cannot be ignored.

This group of people included past and current elected officials from the federal, state, and local levels. It also included physicians, doctors, scientists, business owners, entrepreneurs, five US Generals, a university president, a judge, and one handsome little boy.

Thank you, Dr. Taborn, for your relentless efforts to help empower people within the whole world of STEM. Your tireless and arduous work over the past 40 years to close the digital divide was only crystalized on Sunday as you pulled together a spectacular demonstration of Black Excellence.

You have once again amazed the world and Wes Moore is an even better man because of it! I am extremely proud and honored to know you, Doc!

Folks – do check out his Metaverse work: https://stemcityusa.com/
