Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Sprint will promote skills training

Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh joined the White House’s National Cyber Workforce and Education Summit, where he announced the 120-Day Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Sprint. The Departments of Labor and Commerce are leading on this effort with support from other federal agencies to expand the use of Registered Apprenticeships to develop and train a skilled, diverse cybersecurity workforce.

How workforce partnerships support infrastructure jobs

Secretary Walsh joined First Lady Dr. Jill Biden last week at an electrical substation servicing the Seaport District of Boston to highlight a partnership with Bunker Hill Community College and local unions to provide job training to students.
