Alfreda Robinson Honored at Black Wall Street THE MADISON 801

Ms. Alfreda Robinson has truly blessed countless individuals who are behind the walls.

This story touches the very core of BMORENews.com’s mission since we began this journey in 2002.

Helping empower the formerly incarcerated, in our humble opinion, is a must if the Black community is to thrive. Mass incarceration in the US is the highest in the world. 25% of those incarcerated globally are right here in the US. Nearly 40% are Black men, and Black women comprise the fastest growing demographic.

Something is fundamentally wrong with this equation. Hence, Ms. Robinson’s contributions are not taken lightly.

We are super proud of her and grateful for her.

The gentleman introducing her is Shareef, Co-owner of The Madison 801 at 801 N. Chester Street in Historic East Baltimore, our newest upscalerestaurant in the city. #blackwallstreets #bmorenews
