(BALTIMORE – July 5, 2026) — For nearly a quarter century, BMORENews has covered the people, policies, and businesses shaping Black Baltimore.
On Wednesday, August 5, that coverage comes to life.
As part of the Black Wall Street Summit: National Black Business Month Edition, The Doni Glover Show LIVE will once again take center stage, bringing together elected leaders, business executives, developers, entrepreneurs, and community stakeholders for candid conversations about the future of Baltimore.
The Summit will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the PS 103 Thurgood Marshall Amenity Center, 1315 Division Street, Baltimore.
The special live program will also serve as the foundation for an upcoming edition of The Doni Glover Show, airing Sunday mornings at 5:30 a.m. on WMAR-TV 2.
This year’s program reflects a simple but powerful belief:
Business and politics must work together.
Government creates policy.
Business creates opportunity.
Communities thrive when those two worlds communicate instead of compete.
During the program, I’ll interview some of Maryland’s newly elected Democratic nominees, discussing leadership, public policy, economic development, and what’s next for Baltimore and the state.
Joining me as guest host is Danielle Scott, Founder and CEO/Director of Design of The Styled Hause, Inc.
Danielle brings a unique perspective to the conversation.
After a distinguished career in the federal government, where she held leadership positions in communications and civil rights, she launched The Styled Hause in 2019, building one of the region’s respected interior design firms. With both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Towson University, Danielle has led residential and commercial design projects across the country while developing a reputation for blending luxury, functionality, and accessibility.
At the Summit, Danielle will sit down with local developers and business leaders to discuss investment, neighborhood revitalization, commercial development, and the role private enterprise plays in building stronger communities.
Her conversation complements the evening’s broader theme by exploring how thoughtful development can create jobs, expand opportunity, and strengthen Baltimore’s economic future.
Now entering its 24th year, BMORENews continues its mission of telling the stories too often overlooked by traditional media while highlighting entrepreneurship, civic leadership, and Black economic empowerment.
The Black Wall Street Summit reflects that mission.
In addition to The Doni Glover Show LIVE, attendees will experience networking opportunities, leadership discussions, and the presentation of the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards, now celebrating 15 years of recognizing individuals whose work strengthens Baltimore and communities across the nation.
Whether your interest is politics, business, economic development, entrepreneurship, or community building, this year’s Summit offers an opportunity to hear directly from the people helping shape Baltimore’s next chapter.

As I’ve said for years, Black Wall Street is more than a place in history. It’s an idea. It’s the belief that entrepreneurship, public service, investment, and community leadership work best when they’re working together.
That’s exactly the conversation we’ll be having on August 5. And then we’ll bring it to viewers across the region on The Doni Glover Show, Sundays at 5:30 a.m. on WMAR-TV 2.
