Upcoming Activities

Demolition

  • The Medical Facility structure at 920 W. North Avenue is scheduled to be demolished. In preparation for demolition, you may observe: the placement of dumpsters to support site preparation and tree removal. All activities will take place on the property within the fenced area with the exception of the possible removal of a curbside tree.
  • Site preparation is scheduled to begin next week, with completion of debris and tree removal followed by interior clean-out through October 7, 2024. Typical work hours are 8AM to 5PM Monday through Saturday, with the possibility of Sunday work if needed.
  • This work is not anticipated to impact the surrounding sidewalks or traffic patterns
  • There may be an increase in truck traffic and dust during the demolition. We plan to mitigate the increased dust with the use of watering hoses when necessary.

Demolition

  • Demolition at 1034 N. Payson Street has been completed. Crews will be completing site clean-up and the installation of the permanent fence.

Tree Removal

  • Crews will be onsite at 2126 Edmondson Avenue to install fencing and remove some trees through October 7,2024 weather permitting.

Locating Utilities

  • Next week crews will begin locating utilities on the following roadways:
  • Lanvale Street, Pulaski Street, Brice Street
  • This work is scheduled to start at 7AM and end at 5PM
  • Expect to see crew members inspecting manholes and inlets in the roadway
  • There will be no traffic modifications or sidewalk closures

For more information about these projects, please visit FDTunnel.com, call 443-423-1115, or email fdtunnel@amtrak.com

Construction activities are subject to change. Modifications to the schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.
