ABOUT BMORENews.com

BMORENews.com was founded on August 9, 2002, by journalist, author, broadcaster and entrepreneur Doni M. Glover. For more than two decades, the Baltimore-based news outlet has delivered independent reporting on politics, business, education, community development and the people shaping Black America. Its motto is “The News Before the News.”

A native of West Baltimore, Glover is a proud graduate of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School. He attended Morehouse College before earning his bachelor’s degree in English–Media Arts from Coppin State University, where he was a McNair Scholar. In 2025, he earned a Master of Science in Journalism and Strategic Media from Morgan State University. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.

Glover has worked as a journalist since 1994 and has spent more than 25 years in news talk radio. He is the host of the Emmy-nominated Doni Glover Show, which airs across radio, television and digital platforms. His broadcasting career has included WOLB 1010 AM, WEAA 88.9 FM and WMAR-2 News. He has also appeared on local and national television and radio programs, including TV One’s NewsOne Now with Roland Martin and CNN with Carol Costello.

Glover’s television career took off at WBAL-TV 11 in Baltimore, where he began providing political analysis in 2001. His journalism has also taken him abroad, including reporting assignments in Jordan, Ethiopia and Tanzania.

In 2002, Glover founded DMGlobal Marketing & Public Relations. Over the years, the firm has served corporations, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, elected officials, political candidates, attorneys, entrepreneurs and public relations firms.

In 2011, Glover launched the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards to celebrate Black entrepreneurs, professionals and community leaders, as well as the people who support Black-owned businesses regardless of race. Since its founding in Washington, D.C., BMORENews.com and its partners have honored more than 3,000 individuals in nine U.S. cities.

Often called “The Voice of Baltimore,” Glover is the author of three books: Unapologetically Black: Doni Glover Autobiography (2015), I Am Black Wall Street (2021) and Journapreneur (2024).

Glover is the father of Asaan Payton Glover and N’yinde Amari Glover and the proud grandfather of Amari, Satori Chi and Avani.
