(PIKESVILLE – June 22, 2026) – First, thanks to Doni Glover for BMORENews. We’ve been friends and colleagues for nearly 30 years.
Today, I’m pleased to enthusiastically endorse Mark Brewster for Baltimore County Council, District 3.
I served in the Maryland House of Delegates for 24 years, and that district included the various communities of the new Council District 3. Mark Brewster is a lifelong Owings Mills resident who grew up, attended and graduated from Baltimore County schools, and he is starting his family there. He has spent his career serving Baltimore County residents on Capitol Hill, and he now works at our county’s Department of Health and Human Services.
His priorities are exactly right for this moment: tackling vacant commercial properties like the shuttered Giant at New Town Village, stimulating economic growth along the Liberty Road corridor, and expanding services for seniors and working families who deserve a council member fighting for them every single day.
Mark is a dynamic person who listens, learns, and cares and who builds consensus to move forward, all important qualities in a leader.
Mark has been endorsed by Metro Baltimore AFL-CIO, American Federation of Teachers (AFT), State Senator Carl Jackson, and many others. More on Mark at https://markbrewster.org.
On June 23rd, please vote for Mark Brewster for District 3 Baltimore County councilperson.
Thank you.
