Who is Laura?

Dr. Laura Dorsey, CEO of LLD Enterprises, is a nationally known facilitator of both live and virtual programs regarding furthering post-secondary education. When it comes to education, Dr. Laura Dorsey has one mission. That mission is to educate high school students about their college and trade/career options with a unique focus on helping them and their families navigate how to finance that chosen option.

She aims to share with them that scholarships and financial aid programs are available to make their post-secondary education and career dreams a reality.   She and her team set out to change mindsets, especially among first-generation students who do not think they can afford college or a trade/career program, letting them know that there is something out there for everybody.

Dr. Dorsey has helped thousands of students and families each year understand that there are ways for them to afford college or trade/career education programs and graduate debt free. In Prince George’s County alone, in the past two years, she and her team have facilitated programs where 718 students have been awarded $31,883,510 in scholarships from over 50 colleges and universities.

Dr. Dorsey’s goal is to continue leading a worthy life following her passion and calling to serve communities and youth with opportunities for future endeavors.
