Beef Barons has been at Farmers’ Market for 38 of the 43 years.
Beef Barons authentic “pit beef” and sausage stand has been operating at the Baltimore Farmer’s Market since its inception in 1977. Beef Barons operates the beef pit, french fry, and Humpy Dumpty omelette stands on the east end of the market.
Founded by Steven Shores in 1975, Beef Barons offered classic mid-Atlantic bull-and-oyster roast pit-beef catering for large corporate events, and the flaming pit was a common sight at local Baltimore festivals. The family tradition continues as Michael Shores, Jr takes Beef Barons into its 36th year at the Baltimore Farmer’s Market with an expanded menu now offering fresh, hand-cut, french fries!
