Who is Olijade

Derick aka Olijade (oh-lie-jah-day) is a creative and entrepreneur from Maryland. From singing to teaching himself production to songwriting since he was 16, he has proved that there is nothing one person can’t do. The 23-year-old is working to master multiple genres of music including R&b, Alternative Rock, and Pop while studying sounds from Stevie Wonder, Tyler the Creator, Pink Floyd, and other giants.

He has created his own lane. He represents True Colors, a brand of sticking to the most authentic self and portraying that on a day-to-day basis, never switching up or faking his hue to match someone else’s shade.
