Covering civil rights and social justice issues and solutions in the state of Maryland across the 25 Branches of the NAACP Maryland State Conference. This week we introduce former Howard County Principals James LeMon and Frank Eastham. They are both from the same culturally segregated western Pennsylvania County, they both attended West Virginia University but did not meet until they were both hired as principals in Howard County. Their story of work in the education space as the country fights to embrace diversity, equity and inclusion reveals a positive narrative of transformation, collaboration and commitment to dreaming of “seeing things as they should be.”
