Reginald Lewis Museum was the backdrop for a phenomenal speech by the 1st Black Governor of Maryland, Wes Moore. Gov. speaks on a litany of issues, including our 4 HBCUs in Maryland, an unprecedented 30% woman administration, and a 60-day deadline on agencies to reach the state’s goal of 29% of contracts for Minority Business Enterprises. Present along with Governor were Mayor Brandon Scott and former Mayor Kurt Schmoke – the Rhodes Scholar who brought Moore into the club.
