(BALTIMORE – February 17, 2026) – When you talk about Black Wall Street in Baltimore, you’re talking about men and women who have built institutions, not just careers. Arnold Williams is exactly that kind of figure.
A Founding Member and Managing Director of Abrams, Foster, Nole & Williams, PA, Williams has spent more than four decades providing accounting, consulting, auditing, and advisory services to both profit and non-profit organizations across the region. More than 40 years of showing up, delivering results, and building trust — that’s a legacy that commands respect.
A 1972 graduate of the University of Baltimore, Williams turned his education into a platform for sustained excellence, ultimately helping to build one of the most respected accounting firms in Maryland. His career is a testament to what discipline, expertise, and community commitment look like when they work together over the long haul.
His fingerprints are all over Baltimore’s most critical financial and development institutions. Williams currently chairs the board of the Maryland Health and Higher Education Facilities Authority, a body that plays a pivotal role in financing healthcare and higher education infrastructure across the state. He serves as Vice Chair of the Baltimore City Board of Finance, and is the Immediate Past Chair of both the Baltimore Development Corporation and the Baltimore Neighborhood Impact Investment Fund — organizations that directly shape where dollars flow and how communities grow.
That’s not a resume. That’s a map of influence.
For BMORENews.com’s Black Wall Street series, recognizing Arnold Williams is about more than honoring professional achievement. It’s about acknowledging the kind of quiet, consistent power that keeps Baltimore moving forward — the accountant in the room who understands not just the numbers, but the people behind them.
Black Wall Street has always been about celebrating entrepreneurs and professionals who reinvest in their communities, who build generational wealth, and who demonstrate that Black excellence in business is not the exception — it is the standard. Arnold Williams embodies that standard completely.
