(BALTIMORE – June 12, 2022) – Last month, we celebrated Black entrepreneurs and professionals as well as the people who support them regardless of race at a Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards held at Next Phaze Cafe.

Baltimore Main Streets & BmoreNews.com didn’t get an opportunity to present an award to Christopher Batiste & Phillip Harris of Barbara’s Groceries in Howard Park (4722 Liberty Heights Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21207).

So, last week, as Deputy Director of the Mayor’s Office of Small, Minority & Women-Owned Businesses and Director of Baltimore Main Streets Sean Stinnett, I presented the award of appreciation on behalf of Doni Glover of Bmorenews.com.

Gentlemen, your impact and commitment towards a better community is valued and appreciated.
