(ANNAPOLIS, MD – November 2, 2021) — Governor Larry Hogan today participated in the inaugural event of the Goucher College and Greater Baltimore Committee’s Leadership Café to discuss a wide range of topics including Maryland’s continued health and economic recovery, infrastructure, violent crime, cybersecurity, and the state of politics in America.

“There are those who say that our political system is too broken—that it can’t be fixed—but I would argue that here in Maryland we have already shown a better path forward,” said Governor Hogan. “And if we can accomplish that in our state, then there is no place in America where these very same principles cannot succeed.”

Leadership Café—a new speaker series featuring government officials, political leaders, and business executives— is moderated by Dr. Mileah Kromer, associate professor of political science and director of the Sarah T. Hughes Center for Politics at Goucher College, and Donald C. Fry, president and CEO of the Greater Baltimore Committee.
