The J. Millard Tawes Crab/Clam Bake in Crisfield is an annual event high on the agenda for most Maryland politicians.

(BALTIMORE – October 15, 2021) – Tonight, Marylanders got the opportunity to see most of the 2022 gubernatorial candidates share their thoughts on the Black Agenda. Many thanks to Delegate Darryl Barnes for leading the way on this much-needed conversation. He and the Maryland Black Caucus Foundation should be proud of this effort because it is a part of a larger continuum pushed by Black legislators of yesteryear. Kudos also to Maryland House Speaker Adrienne Jones for being the first to codify this discussion during the last General Assembly session.
